update on the hallway.

This is everything i've been working on.  Lemme know what u want me to axe and what more u need.  I am gonna try to finish the moment piece soon and just keep painting props.  Any feedback would be awesome.

Here is a revision of it.  I am trucking away on it, trying to get it right before i go to color.

I moved alive over and changed lit him more... I realize he;s more centered in the composition.

WIP Story Moment

We are looking at defined shapes. lines for further definition and theatrical sense of lighting. I think I might be getting too painterly with mine, there is room to simplify.

The last piece I posted here is a GREAT example of shape definition, lighting, and simple lines.

Glowing Aquarium WIP

This is the aquarium with the glowing insects that alex approaches in kate's apartment.  I decided to paint it out since I made a lot of ideations of it a couple weeks ago.  I feel like I'm rushing the design though....if you guys have any suggestions, feel free to comment.  I might discontinue this painting and start painting the shot in hillary's boards and use the colors from annlyn's color keys.

Some comps of alex encountering the merbear.  Sorry that I haven't been posting anything new this week....A family member passed this week, so its been tough motivating myself to get back to work.  Feedback would be great and once i pick one, i'll probably finish it tomorrow...thanks.

Exterior progress

Progress shot of the exterior being painted.  Let me know if you like colors and stuff...also suggestions on textures? I added a texture pic for bricks on the side of the middle building (side meaning the one to the right and adjacent to kates).  I am testing it out to see if it's working..let me know what you guys thinks.

To add, on my computer screen it looks hella desaturated -_- on the cintique its saturated...T_T

Reference

 For the living room, saturate on the cool props in the room. and a gradual desaturation out towards the rest of the room. Don't forget to paint in all those books. I just added the keys into the script to see how they look on a smaller scale.

The first moment piece was fixed based on the present Hillary gave. 

The second one is part of the storyboard that Annlyn gave and I thought it wasn't as strong of a composition for a moment piece so I revised it a bit and make it bigger. What do you guys think? 

ColorScript 1

Rough pass of the color script. I just wanted to get the general feeling of each scene right and still maintain some visual flow, from the dreary hall into the richly lit apartment. Should the last stills still be as richly lit even with the shift in emotional content? What do you guys think?
