I found these Paranorman turnarounds to be helpful assessing character shapes.

I like the second one best. Kate's sharpness and Alex's softness seem to describe the character's personalities.
回覆刪除Tiny notes- I also like the second one because of how you outline'd Kate's shape w/o the negative space under the chin or the bangs, and how you tilted Alex's nose/ears away from each other.
In my ref folder I posted, there's 3 files titled "a", "b-e", and "c"... They're Paranorman drawings that look a lot like what you're doing here, maybe they'd be useful? :)
