Amazing. I love that bonzai tree coming out of the skull. Just to get some more big shapes going in the picture.. maybe try some bigger shapes on the wall behind the bear? Maybe it can be an ornate mirror or large portrait with curly designs in the the frame? Some kind of round detail on that wall to contrast with the straight bear back.
Hard to imagine something like that which would add to the piece without distracting us away from the bear... unless it was a giant mirror going behind both shelves so that there was just an arch over the bear's back... that's what I'm seeing... as long as the values reflecting from it are lighter... hmmm
Mirror is going to be difficult to paint later. I would try something else. Anyone else want to put Up's paradise fall in the background somewhere as a poster or is that copyright?
